Helen's sultry tones of steel and silk make her one of
the UK's most versatile and original singers of today.
She's pleased to announce that she's never done drugs
or been in rehab! Despite that, she's had some close encounters
with living on the edge, getting through it just like
you, and she's here to tell you all about it in her songs.
Accompanying herself on the keys, she is busy performing
with her band Threadlines and recording
for her new album. Listen to some tracks in the Media
section.
BBC 1 News & Breakfast Show
Helen was interviewed on BBC 1 News and the Breakfast

a song to represent London in the 2012 Olympics. She sang
her own song for the Olympics and you can hear a demo
clip on Youtube.
Recent performances include the Endorse-It Music
Festival with Mad Professor and The Poetry
Cafe, Covent Garden. She was writing with Chris
Difford from Squeeze
in Italy last summer collating material for her album
and has just returned from a songwriting course with Ray
Davies legend from "The The
Kinks. She's currently in talks with EMI
for her reggae track "2012".
